Obituary for Carey Peter Barkdoll

 "Carey Peter Barkdoll, 87, died at his home at Five Corners, Cayuga County, last evening, Dec. 10, 1953.
  He had lived at Five Corners about 10 years. Previous to that he had resided in Ithaca and had been employed for 18 years in the Department of Buildings and Grounds at Cornell University.
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Allen Barkdoll; a daughter, Mrs. Carl Pratt of Barkers; three sons, Joseph P. of Groton, Glenn D. and Carey A. Barkdoll both of Ithaca; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wagner Funeral Home, 421 N. Aurora St., with the Rev. Edward N. Howe of the Ledyard Federated Church officiating.
  Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery."
