“John H. Sorrell died Jan. 13th, aged 55 years and 7 months. He was born at Baltimore, Md.; he enlisted in Co. B, 26thU.S. Infantry on Dec. 24th, 1863, and served until the close of the war.

  The funeral will be held Friday at two o’clock and the remains will be placed in the Green Hills vault.”
