"Janice House, of 604 W. State St., died Wednesday, May 29, 1985, at Tompkins Community Hospital. She was born in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late George and Lillian Fields Parker.
  For many years, she and her husband had operated the State Street Grocery Store.
  She is survived by her husband, Edwin House of Ithaca.
  Private services will be held Saturday at Bangs Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Durham officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Spencer. There are no calling hours."
