"TRUMANSBURG - Private funeral services for Mrs. Margaret S. Mapes, 85, formerly of Forest Home, who died Oct. 26, 1960, were held Sunday in the Samuel Rhode Funeral Home in Trumansburg. The Rev. R. Emory Smith, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Trumansburg, and the Rev. Alfred P. Coman, pastor of Forest Home Chapel, officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
  Bearers were James A. Bush, David W. Cowan, Paul H. Dean, Donald W. Hughes, Roland K. Kellogg and Andrew W. McElwee."
