"George M. Schurman, 78, a winter resident at 7207 Pine Needle Road, died Friday in Sarasota. He was a native of Ithaca, N.Y., and a resident of Katonah, N.Y. He was a retired manufacturer, and member of St. Mathews Church of Bedford, N.Y. He is survived by his widow. Kerstin Taube Schurman of Katonah; a son, Peter T. Schurman of Woodbridge, Conn.: two sisters, and three grandchildren."
