"Miss Mary Elizabeth Bessac, 95, for many years a resident of 118 E Court St., died Sunday Nov. 27, 1949, at the Pine Crest Nursing Home, Town of Groton, after a long illness.
  Before her illness she was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church.
  She leaves no near relatives.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Gilbert Memorial Home, 125 E. Buffalo St., with the Rev Walkter A. Dodds officiating.
  Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery."
