Obituary for Ruth Seither

"SAUGERTIES, N.Y. - Mrs. Ruth Seither, 71, of 13 Virginia Ave. and formerly of Ithaca, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 1977, in Kingston Hospital, Kingston, following a long illness.
  Born in Ithaca on March 24, 1906, Mrs. Seither was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Abby Young Sanford. She was a retired laboratory technician who had been employed by Cornell University.
  She is survived by a son, Fred Seither, with whom she lived; three sisters, Mrs. Kay Dean of Ithaca, Mrs. Margaret Hughes of Hartwell, Ga., and Mrs. June Dona of East Aurora; a brother, Hall Sanford of Kirkville; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
  Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's of the Snow Church, Saugerties. The Seamon Funeral Home of Saugerties is in charge of arrangements.
  Burial will be at the convenience of the family."
