"Obituary for Raymond J. Bard
September 02, 2010 RAYMOND JAMES BARD, Jr , age 82, of Wood Road, Freeville, NY went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday September 2, 2010 at the Bath Veteran?s Medical Center. Ray was born June 9, 1928 in Atlantic City, NJ a son of the late Raymond, Sr. and Maude Thompson Bard. Ray served in the U.S. Army during WW II and on August 18, 1984 he married Adrianne Ashford at Etna, NY. Ray was retired from Borg Warner after 30 years of employment. He lived most of his life in the Ithaca area and was an avid fisherman. He was very active in the Peruville New Testament Church and loved his involvement with the AWANA Program and the Golden Key Ministries. Survivors include his wife, Adrianne F. Bard of Freeville; daughters, Joanne Bard Addison and Pamela Bard both of Illinois, Maria Bard (Jeffery King) of Ithaca, and Lorraine Bard of Syracuse."
