"Mrs. Pheba Carey Potter, 75, of Ithaca RD 2, died at her home early today, May 14, 1953, after a period of failing health.
  She is survived by a son, Martin I. Potter, with whom she made her home; a sister, Mrs. James W. Smith of Ithaca, and a grandson, Martin I. Potter Jr., and several nieces and nephews."
