Test Negative for Rabies.

'The Diagnostic Laboratory of the Veterinary College at Cornell has reported to the County Health Department that 11 animals recently tested for rabies were found to be "preliminary negative."
  Test animals have been inoculated and final reports are expected within 30 days.
  The "preliminary negative" cases are: Six red foxes killed by the Groton Rod and Gun Club in the Dec. 18 hunt; Cocker spaniel, R. F. Eager, 208 Franklin St.; opossum, Leon Fish, Groton; red fox, Harry Law, Groton; heifer, Albert Perrault, Town of Danby and an unknown dog picked up by the Campus Patrol near Roberts Hall.
  A physician has administered anti-rabic vaccine to Stanley Hart of Ithaca RD 2, a junior in agriculture at Cornell. He was bitten Dec. 16 at the Reed Farm of the Animal Nutrition Department by a cat later found to be rabid."

Note: The Reed Farm was on Stevenson Rd, off Game Farm Rd (known as Town Line Rd in 1950).
