 "Middletown- Louis J. "Lou" Ingrassia Sr., a lifetime resident of the Town of Wallkill, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends at home on his porch on Saturday October 6, 2007. He was 76 years old.
  The devoted son of the late Frank and Adrianna Desiderio Ingrassia, Lou was born on the family farm on Ingrassia Road on March 7, 1931.
  A graduate of Middletown High School, and Cornell University, Lou followed in his father's footsteps as the co-owner of Ingrassia and LaScala Produce Farms in the Town of Wallkill and Pine Island, N.Y. for over thirty years."
