“Mrs. Agnes Milton, 58, of 223 Cliff St. died at Tompkins County Hospital on Monday. May 13, 1968 after a long illness.
A pianist, Mrs. Milton had been the organist for Calvary Baptist Church for most of the 45 years she had been a member.
Both during her years in Ithaca High School, from which she was graduated, and for some time after, she was pianist for many events at the school. She played with area orchestras and at the prison at Auburn.
Late in 1967, she was honored at Calvary Baptist Church by a ‘This Is Your Life’  program.
Mrs. Milton was the daughter of the late Abner Johnson and was the widow of Curtis W. Milton.
She is survived by three sons, Bernard and Duane Milton, both of Ithaca, and Staff Sgt. Curtis Milton Jr., stationed at Perrin Air Force Base in Sherman, Tex.; 12 grandchildren; and several cousins.”
