“Mrs. Melissa Epps, 44 years, died yesterday at the Meany Sanitarium. She is survived by one daughter, Gladys of Ithaca; her parents—Mr. and Mrs. Henry Robinson; one sister—Mrs. Lilly Lee, Medina.

The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon from the A. M. E. Zion Church, Rev. Henry J. Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery.”
