"Private funeral services for Mrs. Grace W. Barns, 77, of 1022 E. Shore Drive, who died Friday, Sept., 24, 1965 were held Sunday at Wagner Funeral Home. Burial was in Danby Rural Cemetery. The Rev. Ranson Hammond and the Rev Howard Quirk officiated.
  Mrs. Barns was a member of First Congregational Church and Hawthorne Rebekah Lodge of Ithaca.
She is survived by her husband, Amos A. Barns; a son, George R. Barns of Lexington, Va., and three grandsons."
