"Miss Jill Vaughan Teeter and Seeley Calvin DeKay Jr. were married Saturday, Sept. 29, 1962, in Ovid.
  Mrs. DeKay is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Lavern Teeter of 85 North St., Dryden. She is a teacher at Cayuga Heights School.
  Mr. DeKay is the son of Mrs. Rose DeKay of 415 Spencer Rd. and the late Seeley Calvin DeKay. He is associated with W. T. Pritchard and Sons.
  The couple is living at 1143 East Shore Drive."

Note: 1143 East Shore Dr is not a valid address in 2025 but the Deed History for 1145 East Shore Drive indicates that 1145 used to be known as 1143.  The DeKay family acquired a number of waterfront properties in this part of East Shore Drive.  Some lots were adjusted and renumbered before being sold.
