“William R. Williams, 76, of 119 Cleveland Avenue, died Sunday at the Tompkins County Memorial Hospital.

A prayer service will be held at the Crance Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, followed by funeral services at 2:30 o’clock at the A. M. E. Zion Church. The Rev. D. M. Byrd will officiate.

He is survived by his widow, Cornelia Williams. Mr. Williams belonged to H. Highland Grand Lodge, 41, F. & A. M., to the Knights Templar of Syracuse, to Dorianthia Chapter, 19, O. E. S., and to R. W. G. Council of the Independent Order of St. Luke.”
