“A deed conveying the property and boat livery business owned by William Jarvis, located on Cascadilla Creek at the foot of Lake avenue to Fred E. Johnson of 215 Willow avenue, was filed today in the office of the county clerk. The consideration involved in the transaction is $5,000. Mr. Johnson taking over the property rights, except the part used as a right of way by the Cayuga Lake division of the Lehigh Valley Railroad Company, and the boats, canoes and other equipment. The new owner of the business has been engaged in the same occupation at 709 Willow avenue.

According to the deed filed, Mr. Johnson takes possession of 15 row boats, 17 canoes, seven sail boats, oars ropes and other equipment. The real estate involved includes the plot bounded by First street, Railroad avenue, Lake avenue, and Cascadilla Creek.”
