"Washington, D.C. -- Abraham M. Cooper, 78, of Washington, formerly of Trumansburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1982. In 1947, he and his brother, the late Himen Cooper, founded Cooper Brothers, a leather factory in Trumansburg. The firm was closed in the mid-60s. Mr. Cooper served in the Quartermaster Corps during World War II."
