"Miss Elizabeth Ann Knapp, daughter of Mrs. Ann W. Jones of 1421 Massachusetts Ave, N.W. Washington, D.C., was married to Harry B. Dahmen, son of Mrs E. A. Dahmen Sr. of 113 Ferris Place at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, 1946, in New York City.
  Mrs. Dahmen is a graduate of the Laurel School for Girls, Shaker Heights, Ohio. She served with the American Red Cross 3 years during the war.
  Mr. Dahmen was graduated from the School of Civil Engineering in Cornell in 1941 and served in the U.S. Naval Reserve 40 months, He is employed in the Farm Service Engineering Department of the GLF."
