"John F. Brown, 73, of 406 S Plain Street, died at 2 o'clock Sunday morning, Oct. 23. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 25, at the home. The Rev. D. M. Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
He is survived by four sons, William, Chester, John, and Lewis Brown; a daughter, Mrs. Ella Johnson of Ithaca; two brothers, David of Athens, Pa., and George of Sayre, Pa."
