"Susan Margaret Townsend, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip C. Townsend of the Etna Rd., died Friday, Jan. 28, 1949, in Memorial Hospital.
  Surviving besides her parents is a brother, Philip G. Townsend; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Maude R. Townsend of New York City and maternal grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. John G. S. Swanston of Alexandria, Va."
