"Rachel Terwilliger Hanshaw, 93, clerk for the Town of Ithaca for 35 years, died today. Aug. 8, 1977. at Oak Hill Manor. She lived at 112 N. Triphammer Rd.

  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Edith Dimock: a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Augusta Hanshaw of Utica: three sons, Frank Hanshaw, Jr. of Ithaca, James Hanshaw of Union Springs and Ray Hanshaw of Rohnert Park. Calif.: 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
  Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family."
