"UPDYKE - Suddenly in Buffalo, N. Y., Sept. 9, 1919, Burt C., beloved husband of Ethel Updyke, father of Leslie and James Irving, son of Johnson R. and brother of Clinton Updyke. Services from his late residence, 184 Victoria Avenue, Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment at Ithaca, N. Y., Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of Charles Miller, Park Place."
