She died in her home (602 The Parkway, Ithaca) on November 15, 1972, after a long illness. "She was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Sarah R. Mellen Burrall of Geneva. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Richard Parmenter and a daughter, Mrs. J.L. (Patricia) Miscall of Lake Forest, Ill."
