The marriage of Miss Laura Freitas, daughter of Mrs. Claude C. Williams and Arthur Freitas of Honolulu, to Ensign John K. Sloatman Jr., USNR, son of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Sloatman of Philadelphia, Pa., took place recently at the Royal Hawaiian hotel. ... The bride will sail in February for the mainland en route to Philadelphia to visit indefinitely with the senior Mr. and Mrs. Sloatman. Ensign Sloatman is with Squadron V-P 28.
