"A native of New York, daughter of the late Oscar and Josephine Wiki Niemi, she was a homemaker and a member of Apostolic Lutheran Church. ... Surviving are her children, Linda Coleman of Roebuck; Eileen Seppala (Arnold) of Greer; Anne Olson of Greer, Vernon Stauffeneker (Kathleen) of West Burke, Vermont; Donald Stauffeneker (Carol) of Inman; Janice Parkonen Juha) of Lyman; Sheila Sauvola of Inman and Amy Troxell Cimmy) of Wellford; sixty-five grandchildren; one hundred ninety six great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leona Ganoung of Tennessee."
