“Mrs. Lucy C. Van Order, lifelong resident of this city, died at 4 o’clock this morning at her home, 314 North Albany street, following a year’s illness. She was the widow of Lynn Van Order. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. M. L. Fahnestock of this city; a granddaughter, Mrs. E. F. Guilford of Lancaster, Pa.; a grandson, Arnold V. Fahnestock of Binghamton; a great granddaughter, Miss Elizabeth Mead of Lancaster, and a sister-in-law, Miss Mary Merwin of this city. The funeral will be held at 3:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon from the residence. Rev. Henry P. Horton, pastor of St. John’s Episcopal Church, of which the deceased was a member, will officiate and internment will be made in Lake View cemetery.”
