    Address on census is "24" - appears to be somewhere on Hancock St. Best guess is 604. Her father is not listed in the 1899 city directory; in 1901 he is living at 422 Esty.
    In 1905 NY census, there is an "Alvira Tanner" listed with "Hellen", both 10 years old, at the Home for Friendless Children in Cattaraugus County.
