Description
The Meadows was built as temporary married veterans' housing development for Ithaca College in 1946-1948. The Meadows was located between Fair St (continuation from Wood to Park), Niche St (from 233 Wood to Park), and Park St (continuation from S Plain westerly). Location of building determined using the ordering schema from the 1949 Ithaca Directory.

Tax assessment photograph taken in 1954 for the purposes of government appraisal by Roy Wenzlick & Co. This photo is only identified as Wood St,. This looks like the Ithaca College's Veterans' Housing that was in this location until 1953 (none listed in the 1954 Ithaca Directory) Based on the location of this building in the photo of 311 Wood St, it appears to be Building 22 (320, 322, and 324 Fair St) of Ithaca College's Veterans' Housing at the SE corner of Wood and Fair Sts, later replaced by a house at 319 Wood St. 1954
