The Meadows was built as temporary married veterans' housing development for Ithaca College in 1946-1948. The Meadows was located between Fair St (continuation from Wood to Park), Niche St (from 233 Wood to Park), and Park St (continuation from S Plain westerly). Location of building determined using the ordering schema from the 1949 Ithaca Directory.
