Description
Lake View Dairies started at 609 N Tioga St, a one-story building. It later expanded that plant but needed more room by the 1940s. The company built a new milk plant at 312 Fourth St which opened in 1946.

"Albany, N.Y., May 29--A charter has just been issued by the state department to the Lake View Dairies, Inc., of Ithaca. It is proposed to deal in dairy products, with a capital of $10,000, consisting of shares of $100 each. Business will be begun with $7,500.
The directors are F. T. Brock and A. A. Scholtzhauer of Ithaca and A. L. Jenks of Genoa. Each subscribes for 25 shares a stock."
