8 Game Farm Rd Town of Dryden

The Richard E. Reynolds Game Farm is operated by the Bureau of Wildlife in the New York State Dept, of Environment and Conservation. The game farm has been in operation since 1927.  The farm is in the Town of Dryden (Tax ID 57.-1-1) . The Tompkins County Dept. of Assessment uses the address 8 Game Farm Rd for the property.  Cornell University indicates that the address 81 Game Farm Rd is used as the 911 address for emergencies. 
 
Prior to 1953, Game Farm Rd was known as Town Line Rd; it is at the border of the Town of Ithaca with the Town of Dryden. There were no house numbers for buildings on Town Line Rd. For convenience, the synthetic house number X8 is used here.
