"Four-story, six-bay, brick commercial building; street-level facade has two altered storefronts (1978) with angled display windows and recessed center entrances; upper story fenestration retains rectangular windows with stone lintels and sills and later one-over-one sash, with each story’s windows somewhat shorter than one below; brick entablature consists of frieze with six eyebrow windows with ornate cast iron grills, corbelled brackets and molded brick comice. Second and third stories have Flemish bond brick, suggesting early construction date; fourth story has common bond, indicating that this was originally a three-story building; Built ca. 1850; storefront alteration 1978."
