"Michael Casey has purchased the Cutler store property No, 105, 107 North Aurora street, which is now occupied by the Chinese laundry and the Allen second hand store. The purchase was made from Albert H. Platts, and the consideration was $8,500. Mr. Casey intends to tear down the old wooden building and erect a fine block. This will be done probably about May first at which time Mr. Casey chains possession.
In part exchange for the Cutler property, Mr. Platts received from Michael Casey the McCormick block further down the street, which Mr. Casey recently purchased from Miss Anne McCormick. Mr. Platts intends to improve this building to some extent."
