Marriage of Jane Elizabeth Ross and Joseph Beyney Moore

"The wedding of Miss Jane Elizabeth Ross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Ross of Forest Home, to Joseph Behney Moore, son of Dr. William Moore and Mrs. Moore of New York City, took place at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the home of the bride's parents, the Rev.
Roy S. Smyres, pastor of the Forest Home Chapel, officiating. Miss Barbara Mungle of Ithaca played the wedding music.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of stone blue crystelle crepe and a corsage of white mums and gardenias. She carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses. Miss Jean Warren of Forest Home, attired in a wine crepe dress and carrying a bouquet of Talisman roses, was the bride's only attendant. William A. Moore of Binghamton, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
The bride, graduated from Ithaca High School in 1925, received her degree in 1930 from the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell where she is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Lambda Theta honorary fraternities, and The Foil, fencing club. Mr. Moore received his degree from the College of Agriculture at Cornell in 1933, his master's degree in 1935 and his doctor's degree in 1937.
The couple will reside in Geneva where the bridegroom is employed in the research department of the Geneva Experiment Station. ..."
