Marriage of Miss Miriam Morgan to Robert F. Brand on Sep 29, 1928. The Ithaca Journal, Oct 1 1928, P. 9, Col. 5

  "The marriage of Miss Miriam Morgan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Morgan of 131 North Quarry Street and Robert F. Brand was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents at 3 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, September 29, In the presence of the immediate family and a few intimate friends.

  The bride is a former student of the Ithaca Conservatory of Music, a graduate of the Ithaca High School and of Cornell University with the Class of 1927. She was a graduate student at Cornell last year. She is a member of the Cornell Women's Club and other women's organizations.
  Mr. Brand is the son of Norton F. Brand, American consul at Fernie, British Columbia, and Mrs. Brand. He graduated from Cornell with the Class of 1926 and studied the following year at Strassburg University, Strassburg, France. He has been a recent graduate student at Cornell and now is a member of the Romance Language Department at Hobart College."
