Miss Johnson Becomes Bride of C. C. Head, The Ithaca Journal, Apr 8 1936, P. 4 (with photo))

 "The marriage of Miss Harriett L. Johnson, daughter of Mrs. J. K Johnson and the late Mr. Johnson of 112 Vanderbilt St., Athens, Pa., to C. Chaddock Head, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Head of 313 East Buffalo St., took place at 10 a. m. today at the parsonage of the First Baptist Church.
  The Rev. A. H. Boutwell performed the ceremony in the presence of members of the immediate families.

  After the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bridegroom's parents.
  Out-of-town guests included the bride's mother, Mrs. J. K. Johnson of Athens. Pa., the bride's sister, Mrs. A. H. Hutcheson of Elmira; and the bridegroom's aunt, Mrs. Sanford G. Lyon of Aurora.
  Mrs. Head is a graduate of the Elmira High School and the nurses training school of Arnot-Ogden Memorial Hospital, Elmira.
  Mr. Head is a graduate of Cornell University, and received his master's degree from the Harvard School of Business Administration. He is a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity, the Rotary Club, the Interim Club, and the Harvard Club of New York City. He is a partner In the shirt manufacturing firm founded by his father.

REDDOUT, 817 Triphammer Road; HARRY G. CLARK and HARRIET V. CLARK, Sheldon Road; DONALD B.KEEP and NELLIE B. KEEP, 811 Triphammer Road; and J. THOMAS REID and ALICE E. REID, 105 Sheldon Road, all of the Town of Ithaca, County of Tompkins and State of New York;

WHEREAS all of the parties hereto except J. Thomas Reid and Alice E. Reid have heretofore petitioned the Village Board of the Village of Cayuga Heights and the Board of Public Works of the City of Ithaca for the approval of sanitary sewer service to their houses on Sheldon Road, formerly known as Water Tank Road, and Triphammer Road, in the Town of Ithaca; and
WHEREAS such approval was extended to the five property owners, namely, Head, Ingalls, Reddout, Keep, and Clark by resolution of the Board of Public Works of the City of Ithaca at its meeting held un July 27, 1949; and
WHEREAS the last of the above-named parties, namely, J. Thomas Reid and Alice E. Reid, now wish to avail themselves of the advantages of such sewer connection, provided approval can be obtained for their house also; and
WHEREAS the parties hereto are desirous of agreeing among themselves as to the method of financing the proposed sewer extension;
NOW THEREFORE the undersigned in consideration of the mutual promises herein contained, and other good and sufficient consideration,
hereby mutually agree as follows:
1. All of the parties hereto agree to pay in equal shares the cost of constructing, repairing, and maintaining a sanitary sewer main to serve their residences respectively, each residence served is to count as one unit for the purpose of sharing such cost, and it being contemplated that there will be presently six such units, if permit is obtained by Reids.
2. It is understood and agreed that the cost of such construction shall include the cost of engineer's services and legal or attorney's fees and disbursements in connection therewith, and that the total will be $3600 more or less.
