"Thomas Mahoney, an aged and much esteemed resident of this city, died this morning at his home, 619 Hudson Street. Mr. Mahoney was one of the early settlers of South Hill, and spent sixty years of his life there. He leaves five daughters, Miss Nellie T. Mahoney, Mrs. M. T. Driscoll, Miss Mary Mahoney, Miss Nora Mahoney, Mrs. T. J. McInerney, all of Ithaca. Deceased was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and of the Holy Name Society.
The funeral will be held on Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the home and at 10 o'clock from the Church of the Immaculate Conception, with a solemn requiem high mass. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery."
