"Charles Bacon, 69, of Brooktondale died at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday May 3, 1939....
Funeral services will be held...at the Brooktondale Baptist Church. Internment will be in Quick Cemetery, Brooktondale.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Louise V. Bacon, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Glenn C. Phinney of Brooktondale; two brothers, Martin of Ithaca, clarence of Candor, and a sister, Mrs. Cora Sabin of Ithaca."
