Obituary of Mrs. Anne Ryder Johnson

"Mrs. Anne Ryder Johnson, 86. Carriage House Apartments, died Monday, Jan. 30, 1978, in Buffalo after a long illness. She was the widow of the late Elmer M. Johnson. past chancellor of Telluride Association of Cornell University who died in 1961.
Mrs. Johnson had been a school teacher in East Pembroke and graduated from Cornell in 1923. She was a long-time member of St. Hilda's Guild of St. John's Episcopal Church. of which she was also a communicant. Mrs. Johnson was also a board member of the former Cayuga Preventorium.
She is survived by a son. The Rev. R. Channing Johnson of Buffalo: a sister in Florida: and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Mr. Channing and the Rev. David Talbot officiating. Interment in East Lawn Cemetery.
In place of calling hours. Father Johnson will greet those attending after the funeral service."
