"Mrs. Marie A. Powers, 63, of 427 N. Cayuga St. died Thursday, Jan. 16, 1964, at Tompkins County Hospital after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, James T. Powers; a son, Richard Powers of Ithaca; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred Nazer and Mrs. Frank Davenport of Ithaca and Mrs. DeForest Wheeler of Syracuse; eight grand-children; a sister, Mrs. Otto Sandwick of Groton; a brother, Paul Toomey of Cortland; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at Shea Funeral Home with a High Mass of Requiem at the Immaculate Conception Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery."
