Obituary for John Galt

"LANSING - John (Jack) Galt, 72, of 924 Ridge Road, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 1980, in Tompkins County Hospital.
Mr. Galt was a retired Resident Mason for the State of New York. He was a member of King Hiram Lodge 784 F.& A.M. of Newfield
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Root Galt ; a son, Richard Galt of Stoney Point; two brothers, Hugh Galt of Ithaca and the Rev. Adam Galt of Erie, Pa.; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the E.C. Wagner Funeral Home in Ithaca with the Rev. Paul Pitkin of the Lansing United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Lansingville Cemetery."
