Marriage of Miss Mary Irving Hendershot and Walter Shepherd Sargent

"The wedding of Miss Mary Irving Hendershot, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. S. Hendershot, 43 Academy Street, Plymouth [PA], to Walter Shepherd Sargent son of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Sargent, Quincy, Mass. took place today in the Church of Transfiguration, the Little Church Around the Corner, New York City. Rev. Randolf Jackson Ray officiated. Only immediate members and friends of both families were present.
Miss Jennie Thomas, Nanticoke and John Avery. Summerville, Mass., were the attendants.
The bride is a graduate of Plymouth High School and Drexel Institute. She also completed a post graduate course at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
She was chief dietician at the Frankford Hospital, Philadelphia and for some time held the same position at Wyoming Valley Homeopathic Hospital.
Mr. Sargent Is a graduate of Columbla Preparatory School, Washington, D.C., and the United States Naval Academy, at Annapolis. For some time he served as ensign in the navy but retired to private life. At the present time, he is engaged with his father as a road contractor at Quincy. Mass.
Following a wedding trip to the New England States, they will reside at 12 Park lane. Quincy, Mass."
