Marriage of Marie Louise Irelan to Cecil Werner Armstrong

'A nuptial event of paramount interest among events of the week end will take place at the First Christian church at six o'clock this evening when Miss Marie Louise Irelan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oren Miller Irelan, becomes the bride of Cecil Werner Armstrong of Oklahoma City. son of Mr. and Mrs: A. C. Armstrong, Oklahoma City. Rev. J. W. McKinney will officiate at the twilight ceremony.
  Miss Irelan, received her A. B. degree at Oklahoma university. Norman, and has almost completed her work for her masters degree in social welfare from the Chicago university.
  She is a member of the following women's fraternities, Alpha Lambda Delta, Pi Zeta Kappa, Kappa Beta, Beta Sigma Omicron and the Mortar Board. She is employed as executive case secretary to the joint case committee of children's work in Oklahoma City, a position which she is to retain after her marriage.
  Mr. Armstrong is also a graduate of Oklahoma university. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Tar, and national president of both Kappe Tau Pi and of Tau Omega. He is a consulting engineer at Oklahoma City.
   The pair will be at home at 2527 Northwest 21st street, Oklahoma City."

"Marie Irelan Armstrong, 77, of Carefree, a retired social worker, died Nov. 21, 1987, at Pueblo Norte Nursing Home.
  She was born in Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband, Cecil W.; daughters, Elizabeth Rasmussen; son, Robert W.; and three grandchildren. 
  Green Acres Mortuary made private arrangements."
