"Mrs. Robert Holland, of No. 1,133 Giles street, died yesterday morning from complications following an attack of grip. Mrs. Holland was formerly Louisa Criss, and from her childhood until the time of her marriage lived in the family of the late Judge B.G. Ferris.
Of a quiet, gentle disposition and most loyally devoted to her home and family, she leaves a vacancy in her domestic circle, which can never be filled. Mrs. Holland was born in the Town of Caroline 57 years ago and has lived nearly all her life in this city. The funeral will be held from her late residence tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. and from the A.M.E. Church at 3 p.m., Rev. T. A. Austin and Rev. C. A. Smith, of Auburn, will conduct the funeral services.”
