"Mrs. Dorn, nearly 101, Dies at Home.
Believed to be the oldest woman in Tompkins County, Mrs. Sarah E. (Aunt Em) Dorn died today, Sept. 30, 1950, after a short period of failing health. She was 100 years and 9 months old. She died at the home of her nephew, Claude J. Gunderman on the Mecklenburg Rd., Ithaca RD 5, where she has made her home for the last 2 years.
Born on Bald Hill in West Danby, Dec. 18, 1849, she was the daughter of Ebener and Harriett Ball Mabee."
