"Joseph N. Kerr, 60, of Ithaca RD 1, died unexpectedly this morning, Dec. 4, 1951, after a short illness.
He was a foreman at Allen-Wales Adding Machine Division where he had worked for more than 33 years.
He was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 636. He was an outstanding bowler in Ithaca leagues for many years.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Estella Jefts of Ilion and Mrs. Paul Meurant of Morrisville; a brother, Frank Kerr of Ilion: 2 nieces, Miss Marie Kerr of Ithaca RD 1 and Mrs. Walter Watson of Frankford, and 2 nephews, Edward Kerr of Schenectady and Joseph Kerr of Ilion.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later."

"Funeral services for Joseph N. Kerr of Ithaca RD 1, who died Dec. 4, 1951, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Shea Funeral Home, with the Rev. Walter A. Dodds, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Bearers were Edwin M. Hile, Clayton Caveney, George Bell, Richard Wurzell, Richard Pollock and Archie Howland.
Interment was in Lake View Cemetery."
