Obituary for Leon David Grover
The Ithaca Journal, Mar 30 1957, P. 2, Col. 3.

 "Leon David Grover, 50, of Mecklenburg, died Friday, March 20, 1957, while at work in Rochester.
  He was employed as a bulldozer operator by the Mueller Construction Co. of Rochester.
  He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Grover; two daughters, Miss Esther Grover and Mrs. Betty Lou San Soucie, both of Mecklenburg; two sons, Leon Grover Jr. and Francis Grover, also of Mecklenburg: a sister, Mrs. Martha Myers of Lansingville; two brothers, Bion Grover and Ira Casterline of Lansingville; and 10 grand-children.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 1, 1957, at the Herson Funeral Home, 110 S. Geneva St. The Rev. Edward L Christie, pastor of the First Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Danby Rural Cemetery."
