Ithacan [Pvt. Paul Quick] Training as Technician

"Pvt. Paul Quick, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Quick of the Lake View Apartments, Lake Rd, is training as a surgical technician at the 8-week Medical Field Service School, Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Tex.
  The Ithacan enlisted in July at the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Recruiting Station here for 3 years in the Regular Army. He completed basic training at Fort Dix, N.J., this month."

Note: Lake View Apartments were owned by Hollis Hunt in 1949. Hunt also resided there at the time of the 1950 census.
