Marriage of Vera May Wilson to Daniel M. Churchill on April 2 1914

 "Miss Vera May Wilson and Daniel M. Churchill, both of this city, were married yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the First M. E. Church parsonage by the pastor, the Rev. A. R. Lamber. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hurlburt of Cayuga Heights and will reside in this city."

"Daniel N. Churchill, 80, of 705 N. Tioga St. died in Tompkins County Hospital on Saturday.
  He was superintendent of Lake View Cemetery from 1915 to 1967. From then until recent weeks, he performed caretaker duties part-time. Mr. Churchill was the only one able to continue duties in the cemetery during the flu epidemic in his early years on the job. He worked 52 years without ever taking a vacation.
  He was honored last November at a dinner given by the cemetery association and friends.
  Mr. Churchill was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church for more than 50 years. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the church where its pastor, the Rev. Sheldon Stephenson, will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
  Survivors include his wife, Vera Wilson Churchill; a son, Roland D. Churchill of Ithaca; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Florence Kelts of Ithaca; nieces, nephews and cousins."
